Wedding Specific:
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is payable when booking the wedding date. The balance is due within two weeks following the wedding date and prior to the finished product being delivered.
Melanie Taylor Video Productions will be the exclusive professional videographer. Friends and family are welcome to operate video cameras on the condition that they do not interfere with or get in the way of the professional coverage.
Weddings (continued) and all other events
It is the client's responsibility to secure access to areas for filming. Melanie Taylor Video Productions will not be responsible for coverage lost due to access restrictions.
Creative aspects such as shooting and editing style are at the discretion of Melanie Taylor Video Productions.
Melanie Taylor Video Productions will not be held liable for any production problems beyond control, e.g. bad weather, accidents, poor acoustics/lighting, interference from guests, etc.
Melanie Taylor Video Productions reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time for any reasonable cause, e.g. accident or ill health. In this event all monies paid will be refunded in full.
Any liability on the part of Melanie Taylor Video Productions will be limited to the amount of monies paid.
Payment in full must be made and cheques cleared before taking possession of the finished product. The client must inform Melanie Taylor Video Productions of any technical or other problems with the DVD within 7 days. After 7 days, if no notification has been received, the client will be deemed to be satisfied with the product.
The copyright of the filmed event will be owned by Melanie Taylor Video Productions, or, by negotion, the property of the client. The unedited film footage can be purchased together with the edited film. The cost of this is dependant on the nature of the event.
Copyright to the edited version of the filmed event belongs to Melanie Taylor Video Productions and cannot be copied or used without permission.
To film a performance, other than a Wedding, a minimum order for 20 DVDs is needed.
